Great stuff Tico. Nice to see your chute used in context and the table is beautiful: simple lines, great reveals. I think one of the biggest “secrets” you mention right at the end in passing: hide glue. I imagine part two will reveal the why.

Speaking personally, successful furniture making has to do with creating things that people like living with. Sure, it’s great to be able to add all kinds of sophisticated elements to a design, but in the end what matters is allowing the friendliness of the wood to have its place.
